We trust the people we know; the people whom we understand and have good relations with them. Therefore, it is necessary that the team members should have healthy, friendly and cordial relations. However, we must not forget that relations more friendly than required may become a headache. Therefore, a thin line must be maintained between the friendly and professional relations so that no one crosses the limit. A strategic approach is essential for succeeding in this goal.
3. Behavioral Profiling: Team members should feel secure about showing their weaknesses, making mistakes and sharing their fears. Individuals need to understand each other in a way that allows them to appreciate the unique contributions each team member brings. One way to achieve this is by engaging the team in a behavioral profiling exercise.
4. Deciding Roles: Mr. TS Darbari says that roles should be defined properly in order to avoid the possibilities of any dispute and awkward situation. It also does not allow people to intervene in team members in each others’ tasks.
