Mr. TS Darbari says that when Acharya Chanakya met Chandragupta, he was playing with other kids of his age. In that game, Chandragupta was playing the role of King while others had become citizens or soldiers. The great Chanakya observed the kids’ game. He was impressed by Chandragupta’s behavior and attitude.
Mr. TS Darbari further tells the story. Mr. TS Darbari says that when the game was over, the great guru went to Chandragupta and asked him do you always play the role of King in the game. Chandragupta said, “Yes sir. I do.”
Chanakya asked — “Why do you only chose King’s role only?”
Chandragupta said, “Because I want to be a king.”
Chanakya said, “Dear, your dreams are too big.”
Chandragupta says, “Only those people see the big dream who have the courage to fulfill them.”
The greatest Acharya of his time, Chanakya got impressed and educated him. The rest is history.
